Ukraine has secured agreements to receive ships to protect cargo ships navigating the Black Sea grain corridor, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced on 25 November, Ukrainska Pravda reported.
At the Grain from Ukraine summit in Kyiv, Zelenskyy confirmed that concrete deals have been made to ensure the maritime route’s security.
“We have agreed with our partners and will escort the ships into the sea to guarantee their safety. We already have specific agreements for receiving ships. This is a matter of the near future,” Zelenskyy said.

The president also announced additional air defense systems for the Odesa Oblast.
